Authorities say a New York City car dealership's concrete roof partially
collapsed, killing one person who was trapped under the rubble.
Fire Department Deputy Chief Pete Leicht told reporters that four workers were inside, and three managed to escape on their own. But Leicht says one man was caught under the debris.
He was taken to a hospital in critical condition and pronounced dead shortly after. He's believed to have been a construction worker involved in a project at the dealership.
A message left for a manager at the dealership hasn't immediately been returned.
The city Buildings Department is responding to the collapse but has no immediate information.
