How Much Should People Expect of FF's? Pet Alert Signs

I have an extremely narcissistic, selfish neighbor who has a sticker like one of these on it on her door.

It is SO like her just to expect someFF to crawl through smoke looking for her pussy cat in a fire emergency.

FF's do this, of course, but I wonder about what it says about our culture that they are expected to do so.
